The Power of Humility

Ex 10:3 And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus said the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

The Scriptures says ......God resist the proud, and gives grace to the humble.(1Pet. 5:5 ). This sense of self-worth or being full of pride is an attitude that suggest that this lofty individual has no need for divine help.

And causes spiritual entities to work against them. This resistance was common among Kings and Pharaohs who acted like they were Gods amongst the people. and on some occasions the people had to choose whether to be king of God.
God had to Humble King Nebuchadnezzar for this attitude. Destroyed pharaohs whole Kingdom for being lifted up with pride. even David and his son Solomon once lifted up in Pride God brought them practically to nothing.
This is why it's so important that we humble ourselves and pray. all the Hebrews prostrates themselves even as a Muslims during prayer, this is humbling yourselves and praying. This is an attitude in which you recognize that your creator is in control of everything.
Some of the greatest entertainers before leaving this world were in a pitiful state, the same is true with great ball players, bodybuilders, even billionaires and preachers. Left this world in humiliation.
These spiritual entities have no respect or no regard for who you are because they know your limitations. And like a pet depends totally on our Master in heaven. So long as you keep this humble attitude you can do great things.
The Lord said : “for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God” (.Lu 16:15) This means that God hates what man esteems highly.
The Lord also said “For whosoever exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted”. (Lu 14:11) This means that God will bring these people down. I've seen many millionaires and billionaires come down to nothing in my lifetime. This is nothing to play with.
The Lord even hates a proud look “These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,”
(Pr 6:16-18  )
Even a proud heart the Lord said as Sin “An high look, and a proud heart, [and] the plowing of the wicked, is sin” (Pr 21:4) .Usually a person that is locked or lifted up with pride pretends that God is blessing him but if you look deeply into how they got the things they possess it's either to send, deceit or they're in debt.
It's amazing how God takes servants, Shepherds and even slaves because of their humility and fights in their state so there's power in being humble. This is when God intervenes. Remember be humble at all times.
